From their small family farm near Michigan Valley, Kansas, Mary Anne and George Blackwood are raising chickens and now selling their yummy eggs to The Merc. They feed their chickens orgainc feed from Thayer feeds of Thayer, Kansas. They also sometimes feed them produce scraps that they pick up here from The Merc's produce department. Their chickens live cage free, and they hope to be free range after they get a fence put up. Thier eggs come in 6-packs and their logo is a drawing done by the Blackwood's granddaughter.
