About Change
The Merc Co+op's Change for our Community Program gives shoppers the opportunity to donate their pocket change to local community organizations each time they shop. Each month, The Merc Co+op chooses a different Change recipient and all donations collected that month go to that specific organization.
Since January 2014, our Change program has raised more than $430,000 for 45 different local organizations.
The Change for our Community program values organizations that share our commitment to the health, well being, sustainability and education of our community. By creating a partnership with our customers we work together to bring financial support to these organizations.
