JT is installing a mural on the corner of our building at 5th and Minnesota. Before the design process begins we're seeking input from the KCK community!

Come in for free ice cream courtesy of Blue Bell, raffle prizes, and activities for all ages in our cafe and classroom!

Outside we'll host local food trucks El de los Phillys & Co. and Los Machetes, with a performer to be announced!

The event is part of Downtown Third Friday Art Walks! Come enjoy a free, family friendly event in Downtown KCK and the Strawberry Hill neighborhood. Art Walk is a monthly event that aims to bring together the community, local artists, pop ups, and brick and mortar establishments by organizing art exhibits, performances, food, and experiences to share in together. Third Friday Art Walks are starting this July in Downtown KCK! This event is being run by a collection of community stakeholders who want to enliven downtown with the best thing ever: Art. They include: Downtown Shareholders, Community Housing of Wyandotte County, Epic Arts, Jose Faus, Vania Soto, Veritas Architects, Strawberry Hill Neighborhood Association, and The Merc Co+op.

Several locations throughout the KCK downtown area become gallery or performance space for one night and all locations host a party highlighting an artist. The event will include several live performances, children’s activities, restaurants, and a map directing visitors to each.
