The Merc Co+op's Board of Directors is comprised of nine co-op owners who are elected by the general ownership and serve a three-year term. Any co-op owner can run for a board position.
Guided by a set of policy guidelines and The Merc Co+op's Ends Statements, the board works closely with the General Manager, who provides the director team with regular reports on store operations.
Any owner can run for the board, and board benefits include a 15% discount on all your store purchases! Board elections take place every fall - in 2022, from Tuesday September 20th - Tuesday, October 25th. Owners must have purchased their share by September 16th to participate in this year’s election.
